One day I was staring at our family wall of photos with all those memorable things of our life and the idea came to me. We, independent software developers are in special relationships with our customers. We develop software that helps people do what they want /need to do, and customers literally give us food and shelter (or, if lucky, "Bently" cars and black jet airplanes). It's not the same as relationships between large software companies and their customers, corporations are faceless. Our relationships are closer. A kind of family relationships. So here's the idea. If I sell enough copies of my product to buy an apartment, I will devote an entire wall to photos of my customers. Isn't it nice to have a family of several thousand members? :)
